Where we are. Where we won't go.
A public commitment, with a date.
What's natural, when you do something well, is the pressure to do more of it. A villa site starts in Funchal, reaches Mallorca, the Côte d'Azur, Ibiza. In two years it calls itself global. In five, the curation is indistinguishable from a marketplace.
That's not KIVO's path.
We're making a public commitment: for the next 24 months — until April 2028 — KIVO will not add a single home outside the Madeira archipelago. Madeira. Porto Santo. Nothing else.
Why be this specific? Because "we've visited every home" is only a defensible claim in a small territory. Because Funchal to Pico do Areeiro is 40 minutes on foot. Because to be the best at something, that something has to be small enough to know in full.
In April 2028 we reassess. If we expand — and it's not a given — it'll be at a territory's invitation, not under growth pressure. And we'll explain here, publicly, why.
Until then, if your home isn't in the archipelago, the honest answer is no. Apply again when we reassess.
The Territory
Funchal, Câmara de Lobos, Ponta do Sol, Calheta, Santana.
One island, a nine-kilometre beach, three homes that moved us.
Or see the ones we've already walked through.
